Purpose and Reason :
TThe purpose of this rule is describe the managed care service delivery options for Elders and Adults with Disabilities and long-term care beneficiaries. The purpose is also to set forth in clear language the respective roles and responsibilities of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), beneficiaries, health plans, and other contractual entities related to managed care enrollment and service delivery for Elders and Adults with Disabilities and long-term care beneficiaries. Federal Poverty Levels have been updated for 2019.
Editorial Notes :
The agency requested an extension to the effective dates allowed by R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-35-2.10 for this emergency amendment which was promulgated on March 24, 2020. The extension was granted in accordance with Executive Order 20-111 which permits extensions for sixty (60) days. As a result of this additional extension, the effective dates have been revised and the regulation will now become ineffective on March 19, 2021.
