Purpose and Reason:

This rule is being filed as an emergency regulation. On March 6, 2018, the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued an Informational Bulletin that contained the 2018 Dual Eligible Standards chart that displays the new standards for the Medicare Savings Program categories. This rule is being amended and filed so that EOHHS can adopt the 2018 Standards as soon as possible. This regulation will take effect upon filing.
