Purpose and Reason:

Effective April 1, 2012, the Medical Assistance rules have updated the Level of Care Costs, the Average Cost of Care, and the Maintenance Needs Allowance in accordance with the 2012 changes to the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

To prevent beneficiaries from being wrongly deprived of benefits needed for their support.
