RIGL 40-8; Title XIX of the Social Security Act; Federal Deficit Reduction Act of 2005

Purpose and Reason:

Efective February 8, 2006, in conformance with the federal Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 changes are being made to Long Term Care applicants and recipients. The home exclusion has a maximum exclusion cap of $500,000 of home equity.
