Title 218 Department of Human Services
Chapter 20 Individual and Family Support Programs
Subchapter 00 N/A
Part 4 Child Care Assistance Program Rules and Regulations (218-RICR-20-00-4)
Type of Filing Amendment
Regulation Status Inactive
Effective 04/01/2022 to 04/23/2022

Regulation Authority:

RIGL 42-12-23

Purpose and Reason:

Implementing the Federal Poverty Level increases for 2022 to the Child Care Assistance Program Income Guidelines as per the Federal mandate. These changes will be effective April 1st, 2022 and are located in Section 4.6.1 C. of this Regulation.

Editorial Notes:

Due to a technical error, the previous emergency rule effective on 04/01/2022 incorrectly displayed the amendments to the rule. This amendment was promulgated to correct the display of the changes to the rule.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

Implementing the Federal Poverty Level changes will increase the gross income limits, effecting the eligibility and cost share levels for recipients of the Child Care Assistance Program. This will allow for greater access to available low income child care services in R.I.
