Purpose and Reason:
Revised policy has been amended to reflect changes to ICPC rules and regulations and federal law. Requires a foster home in another state be licensed in accordance with that state's standards for licensure. Exceptions may be made with administrative approval as long as the home can be approved through the ICPC. Requires a child in out of state foster care to be visited at least once every 12 months. The previous version of this policy, (ERLID#1213)refiled 1/2/02, is being repealed and replaced with this amended version.
