Purpose and Reason:

This is an amendment to subsection 520-RICR-00-00-3.22(A) Hearing to Determine Violation of the Code of Ethics (1015) of regulation 520-RICR-00-00-3 entitled Procedures – Complaints and Investigations. The amendment is intended to address an inaccurate citation of the Rhode Island General Laws referenced within the subsection. The Ethics Commission is not substantively amending the text of the above-referenced regulation, but rather, updating it to reflect the appropriate state statute. 

The Ethics Commission does not expect this filing to be controversial and, therefore, a public hearing will not be held.
