Purpose and Reason:

• Noticed rule: Eliminate nighttime harvest prohibition and statutory reference and modify possession limit.

• Additional proposals:

o Public proposal to eliminate 5.6(E) regarding the nighttime harvest prohibition of blue crab.

o Division proposal to eliminate 5.6(D)(1) so all gear types are bound to the twenty-five (25) crab possession limit.
