Purpose and Reason:

a.       Section 5.5.1(M):  Clarifications to commercial lobster trap tag rules; consistency with whelk pot tag rules. There is no effective change proposed or intended with this rule change.

b.      Section 5.5.1(M)(6):  Add valid dates of May 1 through April 30 for federal tags consistent with the FMP. These dates were added to the order form in 2023.

c.       Other minor non-substantive clarifications. There is no effective change proposed or intended with this rule change.
