Purpose and Reason:

The Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) is proposing to adopt a new regulation to describe requirements and limitations pertaining to Medicaid payments for sterilization and hysterectomy services to provide clarity and transparency regarding federal and state Medicaid requirements for these services.
