Purpose and Reason:

RIDOH is proposing to amend these regulations to include the following changes:

- Adopting the 2022 FDA Food Code

-Adding a requirement for three-compartment sinks at the bar

-Extending the exclusion criteria for food workers who have general symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea from 24 hours to 48 hours [§ 1.4.2 was restructured for clarity and the exclusion period was extended.]
