Purpose and Reason:
New Rules and Regulations Governing the RI Telecommunications Education Fund (ERLID# 3537) were adopted to transfer the regulations, in its entirety, to the Division of Public Utilities and Carriers ("Division")mandated by R.I.G.L. 39-1-61 as amended. The Public Utilities Commission Rules and Regulations Governing the RI Telecommunications Education Fund (ERLID# 2792) will be repealed and superseded by the new regulation now promulgated by the Division Rules and Regulations Governing the RI Telecommunications Education Fund (ERLID# 3537).
