Purpose and Reason:
Pursuant to the provisions of Rhode Island General Laws § 1-7-1, et seq., and in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act Chapter 42-35 of the General Laws, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation hereby gives notice of its intent to amend its Air Quality Monitoring Work Plan. Due to the construction of the new Winslow Fields as part of the overall Airport Improvement Program, the air monitoring station located east of T. F. Green State Airport was relocated on a temporary basis. The purpose of this amendment is to identify the general new location and the parameters (e.g., public and governmental input) for determining the new precise final location. The proposed amendment identified a general location for the air monitor. The final amendment, based on public feedback and consultation with RIDEM and RIDOH, identifies the precise location. There were no other substantive changes.
