Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this rule making process is to implement Chapters 44-18 and 44-19 of the Rhode Island General Laws. Specifically, the provisions of House Bill 7323 Aaa, Article 21 repeals the sales and use tax imposed on the furnishing of package tour and scenic and sightseeing transportation services. This regulation shall take effect retroactively to July 1, 2012
