Purpose and Reason:

R.I. Gen. Laws § provides for a surcharge on the net patient revenue of compassion centers. The purpose of this rule making is to repeal a regulation regarding Compassion Center Surcharge identified by ERLID #: 6530, as this regulation simples restates the statute (R.I. Gen. Law Chapter 44-67) and provides no additional guidance.
