Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this rule making is to repeal regulation CT 88-09, Business Corporation – Net Worth Tax, also identified by ERLID Number 519, in light of Rhode Island Public Law 1988, Chapter 12, section 2, which provides for the repeal of Business Corporation Net Worth Tax.
