Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this rule making is to repeal regulation “Cigarette Tax – Physical Inventories of Cigarettes and Indicia” Cig 89-06 identified by ERLID Number 453, the content of which is being merged into a newly adopted Regulation, “Cigarette Tax” 280-RICR-20-15-1, identified by ERLID Number 8517.
