250-588 INACTIVE RULE
Title | 250 | Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management |
Chapter | XXX | Old Regulations Which Were Not Assigned Chapter-Subchap-Part |
Subchapter | XX | Old Regulations Which Were Not Assigned Chapter-Subchap-Part |
Part | 588 | Rules and Regulations Governing the Taking, Possession, Holding, Bartering and Trading of Shellfish |
Type of Filing | Direct Final Repeal |
Regulation Status | Inactive |
Effective | 09/10/2017 |
Regulation Authority:
Chapters 2-10-3.1, 42-17.1, 42-17.2 and 42-17.6
Purpose and Reason:
This regulation was recently merged into the Rhode Island Marine Fisheries Regulations Part 7–Dealers. Failure to repeal the instant regulation would result in duplicative regulations remaining in effect. Thus, consistent with the Governor's mandate to repeal unnecessary regulations, the Department proposes the repeal of the subject regulations.
