Chapter XXX Old Regulations Which Were Not Assigned Chapter-Subchap-Part
Subchapter XX Old Regulations Which Were Not Assigned Chapter-Subchap-Part
Part 2455 Rules and Regulations Governing the Destruction of Animals by Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Type of Filing Direct Final Repeal
Regulation Status Inactive
Effective 09/10/2017

Regulation Authority:

Chapters 2-10-3.1, 42-17.1, 42-17.2 and 42-17.6

Purpose and Reason:

The subject regulations are proposed to be repealed because they have been superseded by R.I. Gen. Laws § 4-19-2, Disposition of Animals, which prohibits the destruction of animals by carbon monoxide poisoning. Thus, consistent with the Governor’s mandate to repeal unnecessary regulations, the Department proposes the repeal of the subject regulations.
