Regulation Authority:
Sections 42.17.1, 42-17.6, 42-35, of the RIGL of 1956, as amended; and provisions 3.2.1-1 of the RI Marine Statutes and Regulations
Purpose and Reason:
The purpose is to reduce to 7,000 lbs. the season-opening commercial possession limit for black sea bass for the January 1 through March 31 quarter. To be in compliance with an emergency rule adopted by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC)
