Purpose and Reason:
Pursuant to the update of R.I. Gen. Laws §42-35, Administrative Procedures, the Rhode Island Department of Corrections (RIDOC) no longer meets the criteria for having to carry out the public hearing process and filing requirements administered by the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) for several of its rules currently filed with the Secretary of State’s Office. RIDOC is hereby repealing this rule. The fees found in the Community Confinement Program (CCP) Agreement, ERLID 7973; Medical Co-Pay Fee Schedule, ERLID 4934; and Offender Supervision and Interstate Transfer Application Processing Fees, ERLID 7975 will now be found in 240-RICR-50-00-1, Fees. The fees have not been changed. These documents will remain available on our website, http://www.doc.ri.gov/administration/policy/index.php No comments were received on this filing during the public comment period.
