Purpose and Reason:

In reviewing its regulations DBR has determined that this regulation is not necessary. Kickboxing has been incorporated within Mixed Martial Arts, R.I. Gen. Laws § 41-5.2. The R.I. Gen. Laws §41-5-21 “Application of chapter to wrestling and kickboxing matches”, was repealed in 2016.
