Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this Regulation is to recognize, permit and prescribe the use of mortality tables that reflect differences in mortality between preferred and Standard lives in determining minimum reserve liabilities pursuant to R.I.G.L.§ 27-14-17(d). The purpose of the Techinical Revision is to correct Section Numbers that were numbered incorrectly. Section 9, correctly, is Section 6 and Section 10, correctly, is Section 7.
