Purpose and Reason:

The primary purpose of the Land Bank Program is to reduce barriers to the production of affordable housing by authorizing the Corporation to acquire and hold, on behalf of eligible developers, properties intended for development as housing affordable to low and moderate income residents of the State of Rhode Island.
