Purpose and Reason:

The regulations are intended to govern the termination of residential utility service provided by regulated gas, electric and gas utilities. The amended regulations reflect the addition of Part V, Section 4(G), as underlined on pages 37-38.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

Imminent peril continues to exist because the State's economic condition continues to lag making it difficult for Rhode Islanders to meet their financial obligation
