Purpose and Reason:

The regulations are intended to govern the termination and restoration of residential utility service provided by regulated gas, electric and water utilities. The amended rules reflect the addition of Part V, Section 4(G),on pages 37-38.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

Because unemployment rate is extremely high, making it more difficult for Rhode Islanders to meet their financial obligations
