Purpose and Reason:
The new regulations are adopted by the Public Utilities Commission and are intended to govern the termination and restoration of residential utility service provided by regulated electric, gas and water utilities. These regulations will supersede the current regulations that were jointly adopted by the Public Utilities Commission and the Division of Public Utilities and Carriers that were filed with the Secretary of State on June 7, 1985 and became effetive on June 28, 1985.
