Purpose and Reason:
Effective September 16, 2014, the location of the Pembroke Air Monitoring Station will be temporarily moved approximately 230 yards to the south of its existing location to avoid collecting data inconsistent with the statutory mandate, to avoid the unnecessary expenditure of public funds (and the possible imposition of sanctions) for collecting such data, to avoid the risk of damage to the monitoring equipment due to construction activities, and to avoid overall construction delays to the airport improvement program.
Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:
Avoid: collecting data inconsistent with statute's intent; unnecessary expenditure of public funds; possible sanctions for collecting data; risk of damage to equipment; and construction delays.
