Purpose and Reason:
to establish specific standards regarding overall vegetation coverage of the project site, management of stormwater runoff using Low Impact Development (LID) techniques, public access and open space, construction setbacks, and structural shoreline protection for new coastal development within the Aquidneck Island Special Area Management Plan (SAMP) located along the west side of the island, while preserving the valuable natural and recreational corridors and aspects within this region
