Purpose and Reason:

Codification and updating of the former Chapter J DISABILITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES, with 525–RICR-20-00-1 SMALL DISADVANTAGED DISABILITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES Replacing the text of the General Laws with citations. Adding subsections on: Ownership and Control Requirements; Substantial Investment in Business Requirement; and Continuing Operational Requirement. Merging sections on Annual Recertification and Reporting. Deleting sections on: Policy and Application; Procurement; Outreach; Severability of Provisions; Forms; and Endnotes.
