Purpose and Reason:

Creates an exception to senior staff revolving door provision of R.I. Gen. Laws § 36-14-5(o)(1), allowing senior staff members of state elected officials to, upon leaving their employment, be hired as a consultant or independent contractor for up to ninety (90) days to assist in the transition of duties.
