Purpose and Reason:

This regulation broadens and clarifies the Code's conflict of interest provisions relating to a public employee's or official's family and household members. Subsections include prohibitions on (1) performing public duties likely to benefit family and household members; (2) supervising family or household members, (3) participating in budgets that impact family or household members, and (4) participating in employee contracts that impact family or household members.
