Purpose and Reason:

The Department of Revenue’s Division of Motor Vehicles proposes to amend the existing regulations to permit the use of electronic insurance cards to prove financial responsibility and the insured status of the motorist. The amended regulations also update the outdated language found in the prior regulations.
