6.1 Regarding Regulation
A. Foreign language driver license examinations in appropriate circumstances may be given at the discretion of the Registrar of Motor Vehicles upon payment of a reasonable fee to be paid by the license applicant for the cost involved.
B. Such examinations are to be given by appointment only.

Purpose and Reason:
This technical revision is being filed to reformat the regulation for publication into the Rhode Island Code of Regulations. No substantive changes have been made. In the course of filing this technical revision, at the request of the agency, this Part, entitled "Regulations Regarding Foreign Language Driver License Examinations," has also been moved to Title 280, Chapter 30, Subchapter 05, Part 6. The RICR citation for this Part is now 280-RICR-30-05-6.
