Purpose and Reason:
New Rule 14 amends the Rules and Regulations on Examining and Licensing of Hoisting Engineers by adding an Operator’s Training License for the proper and safe use of excavating equipment. This rule spells out the procedures for applying for the license, the training required and the penalties for violating this rule.
