Regulation Authority:

Chapter 42-17.1 "DEM", Sections 20-1-4 and 20-2.1-9(5), in accordance with 42-35 of the RIGL's of 1956, as amended.

Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of adopting these regulations is to provide the data necessary to develop rules governing the licensing of individuals wishing to participate in the harvesting of RI marine fishery resources. This data is a requirement (6.2) of "Rules and Regulations Governing the Management of Marine Fisheries" Supercedes erlid # 2778
