250-1841 INACTIVE RULE
Title | 250 | Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management |
Chapter | XXX | Old Regulations Which Were Not Assigned Chapter-Subchap-Part |
Subchapter | XX | Old Regulations Which Were Not Assigned Chapter-Subchap-Part |
Part | 1841 | RI Marine Fisheries Statutes and Regulations – Part VII - Minimum Sizes of Fish/Shellfish |
Type of Filing | Amendment |
Regulation Status | Inactive |
Effective | 04/28/2010 to 05/26/2010 |
Regulation Authority:
Chapters 42-17.1, 42-17.6, 20-4 through 20-10, and sections 20-1-2, and 20-1-4, in accordance with Chapter 42-35 of the Rhode Island General Laws of 1956, as amended.
Purpose and Reason:
The purpose of this filing is to amend the recreational summer flounder, scup, and black sea bass management plans, and to amend the commercial weakfish and scup floating fish trap management plans. There were technical revisions made to clarify the language in the winter flounder section (7.8) and to consolidate language from Part 11, section 11.19 to this section. A technical revision was also made to section 7.24 (coastal sharks) to bold the text in this section to delineate as regulatory language as opposed to statutory language. This had inadvertently not been bolded.
