Purpose and Reason:
The purpose of this amendment to the "RI Marine Fisheries Statutes and Regulations - Part VII - Minimum Sizes of Fish/Shellfish" is to reduce the commercial possession limit of scup for gear types other than floating fish traps to 100 pounds [from 1,000 lbs.]; and to increase the commercial possession limit for the summer flounder fishery to 150 lbs. [from 100 lbs.] effective 12:01 AM on 6/25/04. Supercedes ERLID#3037
