Regulation Authority:
Chapters 42-35-18(b)(5), and 20-4 through 20-10, and sections 20-1-2, 20-1-4, and 20-3-2 through 20-3-6, in accordance with Chapter 42-35, of the RIGL's 1956, as amended.
Purpose and Reason:
The purpose of these amendments to the "RI Marine Fisheries Statutes and Regulations - Part VII - Minimum Sizes of Fish/Shellfish" is to close the commercial tautog and black sea bass fishery effective 12:01 AM on November 19, 2003.
