Regulation Authority:

Chapters 42-17.1 "DEM"; 42-17-6; 20-1-2; 20-1-4; 20-3-2 through 20-3-6; 20-4 through 20-10, in accordance with 42-35 of the RIGL 1956, as amended.

Purpose and Reason:

to reduce the commercial possession limit for summer flounder to 100 lbs. per vessel, per calendar day [from 300 lbs.]; and to reduce the commercial possession for black sea bass to 100 lbs. per vessel, per calendar day [from 500 lbs.] beginning 12:01 AM April 5, 2003.
