Regulation Authority:
Title 20, Chapters 42-17.1, 42-17.6, and 42-17.7, and in accordance with Chapter 42-35-18(b)(5), Administrative Procedures Act of the Rhode Island General Laws of 1956, as amended.
Purpose and Reason:
To increase the commercial possession limit for Bluefish to 20,000 pounds per vessel per day beginning 12:01AM on October 4, 2015; to increase the commercial possession limit for Scup general category to 18,000 pounds per vessel per day to coincide with the federal Winter II commercial possession limit beginning 12:01AM on November 1, 2015; and to decrease the commercial possession limit for Black sea bass at the start of the next sub-period beginning on 12:01 on November 1, 2015.
