Regulation Authority:
Title 20, Chapters 42-17.1, 42-17.6, and 42-17.7, and in accordance with Chapter 42-35-18(b)(5), Administrative Procedures Act of the Rhode Island General Laws of 1956, as amended.
Purpose and Reason:
To close the commercial Summer Flounder Aggregate Program (50 lbs/vsl/day); increase the commercial possession limit for Bluefish to 7,500 lbs/vessel/week; and increase the commercial possession limit for Scup general category to 7,500 lbs/vsl/week, beginning 12:01AM on Sunday, August 16, 2015. [This regulation amendment becomes effective upon filing].
