Chapters 42-17.1, 42-17.6, 20-1-2, 20-1-4, 20-3-2 thru 20-3-6, 20-4 thru 20-10, and in accordance with 42-35-18(b)(5), of the Rhode Island General Laws of 1956, as amended.
Purpose and Reason:
The purpose of this filing is to increase the possession limit for the general category commercial scup fishery to 25,000 pounds per vessel per calendar week, and increase the commercial possession limit for summer flounder to 250 pounds per vessel per calendar day or 1,250 pounds per vessel per calendar week if the vessel is permitted for the summer flounder aggregate program.
