AUTHORITY: Title 20, Chapters 42-17.1, 42-17.6, and 42-17.7, and in accordance with Chapter 42-35-18(b)(5), Administrative Procedures Act of the Rhode Island General Laws of 1956, as amended.
Purpose and Reason:
Final regulations include: Section 4.7.10: Adoption of amendment as proposed regarding revision to the boundary of the Bristol harbor Shellfish Management Area (SMA) Sections 4.7.19 thru 4.7.24 (new sections) establishing new SMAs for Green Hill Pond, Narrow River, Little Narragansett Bay/Pawcatuck River, Providence/Seekonk Rivers, Warren River, and Town Pond. Waters included in the Warren River and Little Narragansett Bay/Pawcatuck River SMA include only those waters currently closed to shellfishing, in response to public comments and the recommendation of the RI Marine Fisheries Council. Sections 4.7.4 and 4.7.5: Technical revision to change "town" to "city" when describing the city of Warwick
