Regulation Authority:
Title 20, Chapters 42-17.1, 42-17.6, and 42-17.7, and in accordance with Chapter 42-35-18(b)(5), Administrative Procedures Act of the Rhode Island General Laws of 1956, as amended.
Purpose and Reason:
Establishment of closed areas within a Shellfish Management Area, pursuant to the Director's authority under RIGL 20-3-4, for the purposes of oyster restoration activities conducted by the Director; and the establishment of revised annual Winter shellfish harvest schedules for Shellfish Management Areas, also pursuant to the Director's authority under RIGL 20-3-4.
