Regulation Authority:
Title 20, Chapters 42-17.1, 42-17.6, and 42-17.7, and in accordance with Chapter 42-35-18(b)(5), Administrative Procedures Act of the Rhode Island General Laws of 1956, as amended.
Purpose and Reason:
To adopt a more concisely written regulation in place of 6 repealed regulations. Repealed regulations include Part IV-Shellfish; Part V-Bay Scallops; Part VI-Dredging for Shellfish; Part VIII-Oyster Regulations; Part IX-Shellfish Buyer's License-Statute; Part XVIII-Shellfish Grounds. Re-written for improved clarity and readabilit.
