Purpose and Reason:
The purpose of the emegency amendment tothe "Rules and Regulations Governing the Importation, Feeding, and Baiting of Cervids in Rhode Island" is to remove the current restriction on, thus permitting, bonafide scientific experimentation on free-range cervids to determin ways to protect the public health from the threat of Lyme disease and other pathogens associated with deer ticks. Supercedes ERLID #2853
