Purpose and Reason:
This proposed rulemaking will result in the adoption of a single set of regulations to govern both of the State operated piers located at the Port of Galilee and Pier 9 in the Port of Newport and result in the elimination of two sets of regulations, i.e., the Newport Fishing Port Operations Regulations and the Galilee Port Operations Regulations and Berthing Management System.
