Regulation Authority:
42-17.1, “DEM”, 42-17.6, "Administrative Penalties for Environmental Violations" and 46-19, “Inspection of Dams and Reservoirs”
Purpose and Reason:
The purpose of these rules is to implement the provisions of Chapter 46-19, "Inspection of Dams and Reservoirs", and to provide for the safety of dams to protect the public, real property and natural resources by establishing reasonable standards and to create a public record for reviewing the performance of dams.
