Purpose and Reason:
Pursuant to RIGL 23-23-31, the General Assembly added definitions of "extractive industry" and "manufactured unwashed sand", and established specific management standards for same. These proposed amendments carry out the purpose of this statutory amendment. No changes were made pursuant to the public comment process.
