Purpose and Reason:

To provide a sentencing option for selected offenders who pose a manageable risk to the community and who require structured supervision. To provide a more restrictive option than bail for awaiting trial offenders. Changes are as follows: • changes in employment or education plans • changes in how payments of participation fees are made (NOT a change to the fee itself) • waiver of requirement to spend one mandatory night at the ACI
